Psalms 149 - 150

Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high-sounding cymbals. Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.

Psalm 149

149 Praise ye the Lord. Sing unto the Lord a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints.
2 Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.
3 Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.
4 For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.
5 Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.
6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand;
7 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;
8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;
9 To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the Lord.

149 यहोवा की स्तुति करो। यहोवा के लिए एक नया गीत गाओ, और संतों की सभा में उसकी स्तुति करो।
2 इस्राएल उसके बनानेवाले में आनन्दित हो; सिय्योन के बच्चे अपने राजा के कारण मगन हों।
3 वे नाचते हुए उसके नाम की स्तुति करें; वे डफ और वीणा बजाते हुए उसका गुणगान करें।
4 क्योंकि यहोवा अपनी प्रजा से प्रसन्न होता है; वह नम्र लोगों को उद्धार से सुशोभित करेगा।
5 पवित्र लोग महिमा में आनन्दित हों; वे अपने बिछौने पर पड़े हुए ऊंचे स्वर से गाएँ।
6 उनके मुँह में परमेश्वर की ऊँची स्तुति हो, और उनके हाथ में दोधारी तलवार हो;
7 कि वे अन्यजातियों से बदला लें, और लोगों को दण्ड दें;
8 कि वे उनके राजाओं को जंजीरों से और उनके रईसों को लोहे की बेड़ियों से बाँधें;
9 कि वे उन पर लिखित न्यायदण्ड को लागू करें: यह सम्मान उसके सभी संतों को प्राप्त है। यहोवा की स्तुति करो।

150 यहोवा की स्तुति करो। परमेश्वर की स्तुति उसके पवित्रस्थान में करो: उसकी शक्ति के आकाशमण्डल में उसकी स्तुति करो।
2 उसके पराक्रम के कामों के लिए उसकी स्तुति करो: उसकी उत्तम महानता के अनुसार उसकी स्तुति करो।
3 तुरही की ध्वनि से उसकी स्तुति करो: वीणा और सारंगी से उसकी स्तुति करो।
4 डफ और नृत्य के साथ उसकी स्तुति करो: तारों वाले वाद्यों और वाद्यों से उसकी स्तुति करो।
5 ऊँची झाँझ पर उसकी स्तुति करो: ऊँची ध्वनि वाली झाँझ पर उसकी स्तुति करो।
6 हर एक प्राणी जो साँस लेता है, यहोवा की स्तुति करे। यहोवा की स्तुति करो।
