Psalms 19 - 20

The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.

19 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
2 Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.
3 There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.
4 Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,
5 Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.
6 His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.
7 The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.
8 The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.
9 The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.
10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
11 Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.
12 Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults.
13 Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.
14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.

Psalm 20

20 The Lord hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee;
2 Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion;
3 Remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice; Selah.
4 Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel.
5 We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the Lord fulfil all thy petitions.
6 Now know I that the Lord saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.
7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the Lord our God.
8 They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright.
9 Save, Lord: let the king hear us when we call.

19 आकाश परमेश्वर की महिमा का वर्णन करता है, और आकाशमण्डल उसकी कारीगरी को प्रगट करता है।

2 दिन दिन को बोलता है, और रात रात को ज्ञान बताती है।

3 कोई वाणी या भाषा नहीं है, जहाँ उनकी आवाज़ न सुनी जाए।

4 उनकी वंशावली सारी पृथ्वी पर फैल गई है, और उनके वचन जगत की छोर तक पहुँच गए हैं। उनमें उसने सूर्य के लिए एक तम्बू खड़ा किया है,

5 जो अपने कक्ष से निकलने वाले दूल्हे के समान है, और एक बलवान के समान दौड़ में दौड़ने के लिए आनन्दित होता है।

6 उसका प्रस्थान आकाश की छोर से है, और उसका चक्कर आकाश की छोर तक है: और उसकी गर्मी से कोई चीज़ छिपी नहीं है।

7 यहोवा की व्यवस्था सिद्ध है, प्राण को परिवर्तित कर देती है; यहोवा की गवाही विश्वसनीय है, सरल लोगों को बुद्धिमान बना देती है।

8 यहोवा की विधियाँ सिद्ध हैं, हृदय को आनन्दित करती हैं; यहोवा की आज्ञा निर्मल है, आँखों को ज्योति प्रदान करती है।

9 यहोवा का भय पवित्र है, वह सदा तक बना रहता है; यहोवा के निर्णय पूरी तरह सच्चे और धर्ममय हैं।
10 वे सोने से भी अधिक मनोहर हैं, हां, बहुत कुन्दन से भी अधिक मनोहर हैं; वे मधु और छत्ते से भी अधिक मीठे हैं।
11 और उन्हीं के द्वारा तेरा दास चिताया जाता है, और उनके पालन करने से बड़ा प्रतिफल मिलता है।
12 उसके भूल-चूक को कौन समझ सकता है? मुझे गुप्त दोषों से शुद्ध कर।
13 अपने दास को दुराग्रही पापों से भी दूर रख; वे मुझ पर प्रभुता न करें; तब मैं सीधा रहूंगा, और बड़े अपराध से निर्दोष रहूंगा।
14 हे यहोवा, हे मेरे बल और मेरे उद्धारक, मेरे मुंह के वचन और मेरे हृदय का ध्यान तेरे सम्मुख ग्रहणयोग्य हों।

20 संकट के दिन यहोवा तेरी सुन ले; याकूब के परमेश्वर का नाम तेरी रक्षा करेगा।

2 पवित्रस्थान से तुझे सहायता भेजे, और सिय्योन से तुझे दृढ़ करे।

3 तेरे सब बलिदान स्मरण कर, और तेरे होमबलि को ग्रहण कर;

सेला।

4 तेरे मन के अनुसार तुझे अनुग्रह दे, और तेरी सारी युक्ति पूरी करे।

5 हम तेरे उद्धार से आनन्दित होंगे, और अपने परमेश्वर के नाम से अपने झण्डे खड़े करेंगे; यहोवा तेरी सब बिनती पूरी करे।

6 अब मैं ने जान लिया है कि यहोवा अपने अभिषिक्त को बचाता है; वह अपने पवित्र स्वर्ग से अपने दाहिने हाथ की उद्धार करनेवाली शक्ति से उसकी सुनता है।

7 कुछ लोग रथों पर, और कुछ घोड़ों पर भरोसा रखते हैं; परन्तु हम अपने परमेश्वर यहोवा का नाम स्मरण रखेंगे।

8 वे गिराए गए और गिरे हुए हैं: परन्तु हम उठे हैं, और सीधे खड़े हैं।

9 हे यहोवा बचा, जब हम पुकारें, तब राजा हमारी सुन ले।
