paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the
shadow of death,I will fear no evil:

thou anointest my head with oil;
my cup runneth over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy
shall follow me all the days of my life: and

A Word of God Scripture. *
Psalm 91, 1, He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2, I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress:
my God; in him will I trust.
3, Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler,
and from the noisome pestilence
4, He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
5, Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for
the arrow that flieth by day;
6, Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
7, A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
8, Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see
the reward of the wicked.
9, Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge,
even the most High, thy habitation;
10, There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague
come nigh thy dwelling.

to keep thee in all thy ways.

dash thy foot against a stone.

and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
14, Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him:
I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
15, He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honor him.
16, With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.
What is the covenant we all made with God. That should never have been forgotten?

Book of Enock 45 - 46
1 I beheld another splendor, and the stars of heaven. I observed that he called them all by their respective names, and that they heard. In a righteous balance I saw that he weighed out with their light the amplitude of their places, and the day of their appearance,55 and their conversion. Splendor produced splendor; and their conversion was into the number of the angels, and of the faithful.
Chapter 45
1Parable the second, respecting these who deny56 the name of the habitation of the holy ones, and of the Lord of spirits. 2Heaven they shall not ascend, nor shall they come on the earth. This shall be the portion of sinners, who deny the 55 of their existing. 56 In the Bodleian MS. there seems here an evident omission. This omission is supplied in the Paris MS. I have followed the latter. The Book of Enoch the Prophet 44 name of the Lord of spirits, and who are thus reserved for the day of punishment and of affliction. 3 In that day shall the Elect One sit upon a throne of glory; and shall choose their conditions and countless habitations, while their spirits within them shall be strengthened, when they behold my Elect One, for those who have fled for protection to my holy and glorious name. 4 In that day I will cause my Elect One to dwell in the midst of them; will change the face of heaven; will bless it, and illuminate it for ever. 5 I will also change the face of the earth, will bless it; and cause those whom I have elected to dwell upon it. But those who have committed sin and iniquity shall not inhabit it,57 for I have marked their proceedings.58 My righteous ones will I satisfy with peace, placing them before me; but the condemnation of sinners shall draw near, that I may destroy them from the face of the earth.
Chapter 46
1There I beheld the Ancient of days,59 whose head was like white wool, and with him another, whose countenance resembled that of man. His countenance was full of grace, like that of one of the holy angels. Then I inquired of one of the angels,60 who went with me, and who showed me every secret thing, concerning this Son of man; who he was; whence he was and why he accompanied the Ancient of days. 57 tread upon it. 58 for I have seen them. 59 The Chief or Head of days, Dan. vii. 9. 60 The words, Then I inquired of one of the angels, are omitted in the Bodleian MS. The Book of Enoch the Prophet 45 2He answered and said to me, This is the Son of man, to whom righteousness belongs; with whom righteousness has dwelt; and who will reveal all the treasures of that which is concealed: for the Lord of spirits has chosen him; and his portion has surpassed61 all before the Lord of spirits in everlasting uprightness. 3This Son of man, whom you behold, shall raise up kings and the mighty from their dwelling places, and the powerful from their thrones; shall loosen the bridles of the powerful, and break in pieces the teeth of sinners. 4He shall hurl kings from their thrones and their dominions; because they will not exalt and praise him, nor humble themselves before him, by whom62 their kingdoms were granted to them. The countenance likewise of the mighty shall He cast down, filling them with confusion. Darkness shall be their habitation, and worms shall be their bed; nor from that their bed shall they hope to be again raised, because they exalted not the name of the Lord of spirits. 5They shall condemn the stars of heaven, shall lift up their hands against the Most High, shall tread upon and inhabit the earth, exhibiting all their acts of iniquity, even their works of iniquity. Their strength shall be in their riches, and their faith in the gods whom they have formed with their own hands. They shall deny the name of the Lord of spirits, and shall expel him from the temples, in which they assemble; 61 conquered. 62 from whence.
