Book of Enock

Book of Enock 25 - 26

1And from there, I went to another place towards the west, towards the outer edges of the earth. 2And I observed a fire running along without ceasing or deviating from its course either by day or by night, but it ran continually. 3And I inquired, saying, "What is this, which never ceases?"

Chapter 25

1he then said to me, 'Enoch, why are you asking about and why are you marveling at the fragrance of the tree, and why do you want to find out its truth?' 2Then I answered him, 'I want to know about everything, but very much about this tree especially.' 3And he answered saying, 'This highest mountain, the summit of which is like the throne of God, is the seat where the great and holy Lord of glory, the King of the Ages, sits, when he comes down to visit the earth with blessing. 4And as for this fragrant tree then, no flesh has the right to partake of it until the great judgment, in which there will be the recompense of everyone, and a consummation for ever. Then those who are righteous and pure will be given that right. 5The fruit of it is for the elect unto life. On the sides of the north, even in a holy place will it be transplanted, 27 near the temple of God, the King of the Ages.28 6At that time they will be exceedingly glad and rejoice and go into the holy place; its fragrances will be in their bones, and they will live a long life on the earth as your fathers lived; and also, in their days no sufferings or blows or punishments will happen to them.' 7Then I blessed the God of glory, the King of the Ages who prepared such things for the righteous, and created them and promised to give such to them

Chapter 26

1And from there I proceeded to the middle of the earth, and I saw a blessed place, in which there were trees, saplings surviving and sprouting from a tree that was cut 2And there I observed a holy mountain; underneath the mountain water from the east, and it had two branches flowing toward the south. 3And I saw toward the east another mountain higher than that one, and between them a deep ravine, not wide, and near it water proceeded underneath the mountain. 4and toward the west of it another mountain lower than that one and not very high, and a deep and sterile ravine between them, and another deep and sterile ravine and dry land at the far end of the three mountains. 5And all these deep ravines were of hard rock, and no tree was taking root in them. 6And I marvelled about the ravines, and was very much amazed. off.

BE THE LIGHT

No one pours new wine into old wineskins; otherwise,

these old wineskins would perrish, and the new wine be lost.

But a wine poured into a new wineskin with care can mature and prosper.”
