Leviticus 21 - 22
The Lord said to Moses, “Speak to the priests, the sons of Aaron, and say to them: ‘A priest must not make himself ceremonially unclean for any of his people who die, except for a close relative, such as his mother or father, his son or daughter, his brother,  or an unmarried sister who is dependent on him since she has no husband, for her he may make himself unclean.  He must not make himself unclean for people related to him by marriage, and so defile himself.
Leviticus 21

5 “‘Priests must not shave their heads or shave off the edges of their beards or cut their bodies. 6 They must be holy to their God and must not profane the name of their God. Because they present the food offerings to the Lord, the food of their God, they are to be holy.
7 “‘They must not marry women defiled by prostitution or divorced from their husbands, because priests are holy to their God. 8 Regard them as holy, because they offer up the food of your God. Consider them holy, because I the Lord am holy—I who make you holy.
9 “‘If a priest’s daughter defiles herself by becoming a prostitute, she disgraces her father; she must be burned in the fire.
10 “‘The high priest, the one among his brothers who has had the anointing oil poured on his head and who has been ordained to wear the priestly garments, must not let his hair become unkempt[b] or tear his clothes. 11 He must not enter a place where there is a dead body. He must not make himself unclean, even for his father or mother, 12 nor leave the sanctuary of his God or desecrate it, because he has been dedicated by the anointing oil of his God. I am the Lord.
13 “‘The woman he marries must be a virgin. 14 He must not marry a widow, a divorced woman, or a woman defiled by prostitution, but only a virgin from his own people, 15 so that he will not defile his offspring among his people. I am the Lord, who makes him holy.’”
16 The Lord said to Moses, 17 “Say to Aaron: ‘For the generations to come none of your descendants who has a defect may come near to offer the food of his God. 18 No man who has any defect may come near: no man who is blind or lame, disfigured or deformed; 19 no man with a crippled foot or hand, 20 or who is a hunchback or a dwarf, or who has any eye defect, or who has festering or running sores or damaged testicles. 21 No descendant of Aaron the priest who has any defect is to come near to present the food offerings to the Lord. He has a defect; he must not come near to offer the food of his God. 22 He may eat the most holy food of his God, as well as the holy food; 23 yet because of his defect, he must not go near the curtain or approach the altar, and so desecrate my sanctuary. I am the Lord, who makes them holy.’”
24 So Moses told this to Aaron and his sons and to all the Israelites.
Leviticus 22
22 The Lord said to Moses, 2 “Tell Aaron and his sons to treat with respect the sacred offerings the Israelites consecrate to me, so they will not profane my holy name. I am the Lord.
3 “Say to them: ‘For the generations to come, if any of your descendants is ceremonially unclean and yet comes near the sacred offerings that the Israelites consecrate to the Lord, that person must be cut off from my presence. I am the Lord.
4 “‘If a descendant of Aaron has a defiling skin disease[a] or a bodily discharge, he may not eat the sacred offerings until he is cleansed. He will also be unclean if he touches something defiled by a corpse or by anyone who has an emission of semen, 5 or if he touches any crawling thing that makes him unclean, or any person who makes him unclean, whatever the uncleanness may be. 6 The one who touches any such thing will be unclean till evening. He must not eat any of the sacred offerings unless he has bathed himself with water. 7 When the sun goes down, he will be clean, and after that he may eat the sacred offerings, for they are his food. 8 He must not eat anything found dead or torn by wild animals, and so become unclean through it. I am the Lord.
9 “‘The priests are to perform my service in such a way that they do not become guilty and die for treating it with contempt. I am the Lord, who makes them holy.
10 “‘No one outside a priest’s family may eat the sacred offering, nor may the guest of a priest or his hired worker eat it. 11 But if a priest buys a slave with money, or if slaves are born in his household, they may eat his food. 12 If a priest’s daughter marries anyone other than a priest, she may not eat any of the sacred contributions. 13 But if a priest’s daughter becomes a widow or is divorced, yet has no children, and she returns to live in her father’s household as in her youth, she may eat her father’s food. No unauthorized person, however, may eat it.
14 “‘Anyone who eats a sacred offering by mistake must make restitution to the priest for the offering and add a fifth of the value to it. 15 The priests must not desecrate the sacred offerings the Israelites present to the Lord 16 by allowing them to eat the sacred offerings and so bring upon them guilt requiring payment. I am the Lord, who makes them holy.’”
Unacceptable Sacrifices
17 The Lord said to Moses, 18 “Speak to Aaron and his sons and to all the Israelites and say to them: ‘If any of you—whether an Israelite or a foreigner residing in Israel—presents a gift for a burnt offering to the Lord, either to fulfill a vow or as a freewill offering, 19 you must present a male without defect from the cattle, sheep or goats in order that it may be accepted on your behalf. 20 Do not bring anything with a defect, because it will not be accepted on your behalf. 21 When anyone brings from the herd or flock a fellowship offering to the Lord to fulfill a special vow or as a freewill offering, it must be without defect or blemish to be acceptable. 22 Do not offer to the Lord the blind, the injured or the maimed, or anything with warts or festering or running sores. Do not place any of these on the altar as a food offering presented to the Lord. 23 You may, however, present as a freewill offering an ox or a sheep that is deformed or stunted, but it will not be accepted in fulfillment of a vow. 24 You must not offer to the Lord an animal whose testicles are bruised, crushed, torn or cut. You must not do this in your own land, 25 and you must not accept such animals from the hand of a foreigner and offer them as  the food of your God. They will not be accepted on your behalf, because they are deformed and have defects.’26 The Lord said to Moses, 27 “When a calf, a lamb or a goat is born, it is to remain with its mother for seven days. From the eighth day on, it will be acceptable as a food offering presented to the Lord. 28 Do not slaughter a cow or a sheep and its young on the same day.
29 “When you sacrifice a thank offering to the Lord, sacrifice it in such a way that it will be accepted on your behalf. 30 It must be eaten that same day; leave none of it till morning. I am the Lord.
31 “Keep my commands and follow them. I am the Lord. 32 Do not profane my holy name, for I must be acknowledged as holy by the Israelites. I am the Lord, who made you holy 33 and who brought you out of Egypt to be your God. I am the Lord.”

21 यहोवा ने मूसा से कहा, हारून की सन्तान याजकों से कह, कि याजक अपक्की प्रजा में से किसी के मरने पर अपने आप को अशुद्ध न करे, 2 सिवाय उसके किसी निकट सम्बन्धी के माता या पिता, उसका बेटा या बेटी, उसका भाई, 3 या अविवाहित बहन जो उस पर निर्भर हो क्योंकि उसका कोई पति नहीं है - उसके लिए वह अपने आप को अशुद्ध कर सकता है। 4 वह विवाह के द्वारा अपने सम्बन्धियोंके कारण अपने आप को अशुद्ध न करे।
5 “याजकों को अपना सिर नहीं मुँड़ाना चाहिए, न अपनी दाढ़ी के किनारे मुँड़ाना चाहिए, न अपने शरीर को काटना चाहिए। 6 वे अपने परमेश्वर के लिये पवित्र रहें, और अपने परमेश्वर का नाम अपवित्र न करें। क्योंकि वे यहोवा के लिये अन्नबलि, अर्थात् अपने परमेश्वर का भोजन, चढ़ाते हैं, इसलिये उनको पवित्र रहना चाहिए।
7 “वे वेश्यावृत्ति से अशुद्ध या अपने पतियों से त्यागी हुई स्त्रियों से विवाह न करें, क्योंकि याजक अपने परमेश्वर के लिये पवित्र हैं। 8 उन्हें पवित्र मानना, क्योंकि वे तुम्हारे परमेश्वर का भोजन चढ़ाते हैं। उन्हें पवित्र समझो, क्योंकि मैं प्रभु, जो तुम्हें पवित्र बनाता हूं, पवित्र हूं।
9 “यदि याजक की बेटी वेश्या बनकर अपने आप को अशुद्ध करती है, तो वह अपने पिता का अपमान करती है; उसे आग में जला देना चाहिए।
10 “‘प्रधान याजक, अपने भाइयों में से एक जिसके सिर पर अभिषेक का तेल डाला गया हो और जिसे याजकीय वस्त्र पहनने के लिए नियुक्त किया गया हो, उसे अपने बाल बिखरे नहीं होने चाहिए[बी] और अपने कपड़े नहीं फाड़ने चाहिए। 11 वह ऐसे स्थान में प्रवेश न करे जहां लोय हो। वह अपने पिता या माता के लिये भी अपने आप को अशुद्ध न करे, 12 और न अपने परमेश्वर के पवित्रस्थान को छोड़े, और न उसे अपवित्र करे, क्योंकि वह अपने परमेश्वर के अभिषेक के तेल से पवित्र किया गया है। मैं भगवान हूँ.
13 “जिस स्त्री से वह ब्याह करे वह कुँवारी हो। 14 वह किसी विधवा, वा त्यागी हुई स्त्री, वा वेश्यावृत्ति से अशुद्ध स्त्री से ब्याह न करे, परन्तु अपने ही लोगों में से किसी कुंवारी से ब्याह करे, 15 ताकि वह अपने लोगों के बीच अपने वंश को अशुद्ध न करे। मैं यहोवा हूं, जो उसे पवित्र बनाता है।'”
16 यहोवा ने मूसा से कहा, 17 हारून से कह, पीढ़ी पीढ़ी तक तेरे वंश में से जिस किसी में कोई दोष हो वह अपके परमेश्वर का भोजन चढ़ाने के लिथे निकट न आए। 18 जिस किसी में कोई दोष हो, वह निकट न आए; कोई अन्धा, वा लंगड़ा, वा विकृत वा विकृत हो; 19 कोई ऐसा मनुष्य न हो जिसके पांव या हाथ अपंग हों, 20 या जो कुबड़ा या बौना हो, या जिस की आंख में कोई खराबी हो, या जिस के मुंह में फोड़े हों, या बहते घाव हों, या अंडकोष क्षतिग्रस्त हो। 21 हारून याजक के वंश में से जिस किसी में कोई दोष हो वह यहोवा के लिये अन्नबलि चढ़ाने के लिये समीप न आए। उसमें एक दोष है; वह अपने परमेश्वर को भोजन चढ़ाने के लिये निकट न आए। 22 वह अपके परमेश्वर का परमपवित्र भोजन, और पवित्र भोजन भी खा सके; 23 तौभी वह अपने दोष के कारण न तो पर्दे के निकट जाए, और न वेदी के निकट आए, और मेरे पवित्रस्थान को अपवित्र करे। मैं यहोवा हूं, जो उन्हें पवित्र बनाता है।'"
24 तब मूसा ने हारून और उसके पुत्रोंऔर सब इस्राएलियोंको यह समाचार दिया।

22 यहोवा ने मूसा से कहा, 2 हारून और उसके पुत्रोंसे कह, कि इस्राएली जो पवित्र वस्तुएं मेरे लिथे पवित्र करते हैं उनको आदर से ग्रहण करें, ऐसा न हो कि वे मेरे पवित्र नाम को अपवित्रा करें। मैं भगवान हूँ.
3 उन से कह, कि आनेवाली पीढ़ियों में यदि तुम्हारे वंश में से कोई अशुद्ध हो, और उन पवित्र हव्यों के पास आए जिन्हें इस्राएली यहोवा के लिये पवित्र करते हैं, तो वह मनुष्य मेरे साम्हने से अलग किया जाए। मैं भगवान हूँ.
4 “यदि हारून के वंशज को अशुद्ध चर्म रोग हो[ए] या शारीरिक स्राव हो, तो वह शुद्ध होने तक पवित्र भेंट नहीं खा सकता। यदि वह किसी लोय के द्वारा अशुद्ध की हुई वस्तु को, या किसी ऐसे व्यक्ति के द्वारा जिसके वीर्य का स्राव हुआ हो, छूए, 5 या किसी रेंगनेवाले वस्तु को छूए जो उसे अशुद्ध करता है, या किसी ऐसे व्यक्ति को छूए जो उसे अशुद्ध करता है, चाहे वह अशुद्धता कुछ भी हो, वह अशुद्ध होगा। 6 जो कोई ऐसी वस्तु को छूएगा वह सांझ तक अशुद्ध रहेगा। जब तक वह जल से स्नान न कर ले, तब तक उसे पवित्र भेंट में से कुछ भी नहीं खाना चाहिए। 7 सूर्य अस्त होने पर वह शुद्ध ठहरेगा, और उसके बाद वह पवित्र वस्तुएं खा सकेगा, क्योंकि वे ही उसका भोजन होंगे। 8 वह कोई मरी हुई वा फाड़ी हुई वस्तु न खाए, और उसके द्वारा अशुद्ध न हो। मैं भगवान हूँ.
9 “याजकों को मेरी सेवा इस रीति से करनी चाहिए, कि वे दोषी न ठहरें, और उसका तिरस्कार करने के कारण मर न जाएं। मैं यहोवा हूं, जो उन्हें पवित्र बनाता है।
10 “याजक के परिवार के बाहर का कोई भी व्यक्ति पवित्र भेंट नहीं खा सकता, न ही याजक का अतिथि या उसका मज़दूर उसे खा सकता है। 11 परन्तु यदि कोई याजक किसी दास को रूपया देकर मोल ले, वा उसके घर में दास उत्पन्न हों, तो वे उसका भोजन खा सकें। 12 यदि किसी याजक की बेटी का विवाह याजक के अलावा किसी और से हो जाए, तो वह पवित्र भेंट में से कुछ न खाए। 13 परन्तु यदि किसी याजक की बेटी विधवा या त्यागी हुई हो, और उसके कोई सन्तान न हो, और वह अपनी जवानी की नाईं अपने पिता के घर में लौट आए, तो वह अपने पिता का भोजन खा सकती है। हालाँकि, कोई भी अनधिकृत व्यक्ति इसे नहीं खा सकता है।
14 “जो कोई पवित्र भेंट भूल से खा ले उसे उस भेंट का बदला याजक को देना चाहिए, और उस में मूल्य का पांचवां हिस्सा भी जोड़ना चाहिए। 15 याजकों को इस्राएलियों को यहोवा के लिये चढ़ाए हुए पवित्र बलिदानों को अपवित्र नहीं करना चाहिए, 16 और उन्हें पवित्र बलिदानों को खाने की अनुमति देकर उन्हें अपवित्र नहीं करना चाहिए, और इस प्रकार उन पर दोष लगाना पड़ेगा, जिसके लिए उन्हें भुगतान करना पड़े। मैं यहोवा हूं, जो उन्हें पवित्र बनाता है।'"
अस्वीकार्य बलिदान
17 यहोवा ने मूसा से कहा, 18 हारून और उसके पुत्रोंऔर सब इस्राएलियोंसे कह, कि यदि तुम में से कोई इस्राएली हो, चाहे इस्राएल में रहनेवाला परदेशी हो, होमबलि के लिथे भेंट चढ़ाए। हे प्रभु, या तो मन्नत पूरी करने के लिये या स्वेच्छाबलि के लिये, 19 तुम्हें गाय-बैल, भेड़-बकरी में से एक निर्दोष नर चढ़ाना होगा, कि वह तेरी ओर से स्वीकार किया जाए। 20 कोई भी वस्तु जिसमें कोई दोष हो, न लाना, क्योंकि वह तेरी ओर से ग्रहण न की जाएगी। 21 जब कोई किसी विशेष मन्नत को पूरा करने के लिये या स्वेच्छाबलि के लिये यहोवा के लिये मेलबलि अपके झुण्ड वा झुण्ड में से ले आए, तो वह ग्रहणयोग्य होने के लिथे दोषरहित या दोषरहित होना चाहिए। 22 यहोवा को अन्धा, घायल वा टुण्डा, वा मस्से, वा पके हुए वा फोड़ेवाली कोई वस्तु न चढ़ाना। इनमें से कुछ भी वेदी पर यहोवा को चढ़ाए जाने वाले अन्नबलि के रूप में न रखना। 23 तौभी तुम स्वेच्छा से कोई बैल या भेड़ जो टेढ़ा या बौना हो, भेंट कर सकते हो, परन्तु मन्नत पूरी होने पर वह ग्रहण न किया जाएगा। 24 जिस पशु के अंडकोष कुचले हुए, कुचले हुए, फटे हुए या कटे हुए हों, उन्हें यहोवा के लिये न चढ़ाना। तुम्हें अपने देश में ऐसा नहीं करना चाहिए, 25 और ऐसे जानवरों को किसी परदेशी के हाथ से स्वीकार करके अपने परमेश्वर के भोजन के लिये न चढ़ाना। वे तेरी ओर से ग्रहण न किए जाएंगे, क्योंकि वे टेढ़े हैं और उन में दोष हैं। 26 यहोवा ने मूसा से कहा, 27 जब बछड़ा, मेम्ना वा बकरी का बच्चा उत्पन्न हो, तो वह सात दिन तक अपनी मां के पास रहे। आठवें दिन से, यह यहोवा को चढ़ाए जाने वाले भोजन-बलि के रूप में स्वीकार्य होगा। 28 गाय वा भेड़-बकरी और उसके बच्चों का एक ही दिन वध न करना।
29 “जब तू यहोवा के लिये धन्यवादबलि चढ़ाए, तो उसे इस रीति से बलि करना कि वह तेरे निमित्त स्वीकार किया जाए। 30 वह उसी दिन खाया जाए; इसमें से कुछ भी सुबह तक न छोड़ें। मैं भगवान हूँ.
31 “मेरी आज्ञाओं को मानना और उनका पालन करना। मैं भगवान हूँ. 32 मेरे पवित्र नाम को अपवित्र न करना, क्योंकि अवश्य है, कि इस्राएली मुझे पवित्र मानें। मैं यहोवा हूं, जिस ने तुम्हें पवित्र किया 33 और जो तुम्हें मिस्र से निकाल लाया, कि तुम्हारा परमेश्वर ठहरूं। मैं भगवान हूँ।"

First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all,
that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world. Romans 1: 8

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

11 Put on the whole armour of God,
that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood,
but against principalities, against powers,
against the rulers of the darkness of this world,
against spiritual wickedness in high places.

13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God,
that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day,
and having done all, to stand.

14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth,
and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

all the fiery darts of the wicked.

19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me,
that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
