​​Consider and behold the trees, how they appear to wither, and every leaf falls off, except for fourteen trees,

   whose leaves do not fall off, but the old ones remain until the new ones come after two or three years.

And again consider the days of summer, how the sun begins to be directly above.

 

You look for shelter and shade because of the heat of the sun, and the ground is burning with scorching heat, and you cannot step either on the dirt or on the rock because of its heat;
