Psalms 97 - 98

The Lord reigneth; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad thereof. Clouds and darkness are round about him: righteousness and judgment are the habitations of his throne. A fire goeth before him, and burneth up his enemies roundabout. His lightning enlightened the world: the earth saw and trembled.

Psalm 97

97 The Lord reigneth; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad thereof.
2 Clouds and darkness are round about him: righteousness and judgment are the habitation of his throne.
3 A fire goeth before him, and burneth up his enemies round about.
4 His lightnings enlightened the world: the earth saw, and trembled.
5 The hills melted like wax at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.
6 The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory.
7 Confounded be all they that serve graven images, that boast themselves of idols: worship him, all ye gods.
8 Zion heard, and was glad; and the daughters of Judah rejoiced because of thy judgments, O Lord.
9 For thou, Lord, art high above all the earth: thou art exalted far above all gods.
10 Ye that love the Lord, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.
11 Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.
12 Rejoice in the Lord, ye righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.

Psalm 98

98 O sing unto the Lord a new song; for he hath done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory.
2 The Lord hath made known his salvation: his righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the heathen.
3 He hath remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.
4 Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.
5 Sing unto the Lord with the harp; with the harp, and the voice of a psalm.
6 With trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful noise before the Lord, the King.
7 Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
8 Let the floods clap their hands: let the hills be joyful together
9 Before the Lord; for he cometh to judge the earth: with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity.

भजन संहिता 97 - 98

97 यहोवा राज्य करता है; पृथ्वी आनन्दित हो; द्वीपों की भीड़ उसके कारण आनन्दित हो।

2 बादल और अन्धकार उसके चारों ओर हैं; धर्म और न्याय उसके सिंहासन का निवास है।

3 आग उसके आगे-आगे चलती है, और उसके शत्रुओं को चारों ओर से भस्म कर देती है।

4 उसकी बिजली ने संसार को प्रकाशित किया: पृथ्वी ने देखा, और काँप उठी।

5 पहाड़ियाँ यहोवा की उपस्थिति में, सारी पृथ्वी के यहोवा की उपस्थिति में मोम की तरह पिघल गईं।

6 आकाश उसकी धार्मिकता की घोषणा करता है, और सभी लोग उसकी महिमा देखते हैं।

7 वे सब लज्जित हों जो खुदी हुई मूर्तियों की सेवा करते हैं, जो मूर्तियों पर घमण्ड करते हैं: हे सब देवताओं, उसी की आराधना करो।

8 सिय्योन ने सुना, और आनन्दित हुआ; और यहूदा की बेटियाँ, हे यहोवा, तेरे न्याय के कारण आनन्दित हुईं।

9 क्योंकि हे यहोवा, तू सारी पृथ्वी के ऊपर महान है: तू सभी देवताओं से बहुत महान है।

10 हे यहोवा से प्रेम रखनेवालों, बुराई से घृणा करो; वह अपने पवित्र लोगों के प्राणों की रक्षा करता है, और उन्हें दुष्टों के हाथ से छुड़ाता है।

11 धर्मियों के लिये ज्योति और सीधे मनवालों के लिये आनन्द बोया जाता है।

12 हे धर्मियों, यहोवा में आनन्दित हो, और उसकी पवित्रता के स्मरण से धन्यवाद करो।

98 हे यहोवा के लिये नया गीत गाओ, क्योंकि उसने अद्भुत काम किये हैं; उसके दाहिने हाथ और उसकी पवित्र भुजा ने उसको विजय दिलाई है।
2 यहोवा ने अपना उद्धार प्रगट किया है; उसने अपनी धार्मिकता अन्यजातियों के साम्हने प्रगट की है।
3 उसने इस्राएल के घराने के प्रति अपनी दया और सच्चाई को स्मरण किया है: पृथ्वी के दूर दूर देशों ने हमारे परमेश्वर के उद्धार को देखा है।
4 हे सारी पृथ्वी के लोगो यहोवा के लिये जयजयकार करो; ऊँचे स्वर में जयजयकार करो, और आनन्द मनाओ, और स्तुति गाओ।
5 वीणा बजाकर यहोवा का गीत गाओ; वीणा और भजन का शब्द बजाओ।
6 तुरही और नरसिंगे की ध्वनि के साथ यहोवा राजा के सम्मुख जयजयकार करो।
7 समुद्र और उसकी परिपूर्णता गरजें; जगत और उसमें रहनेवाले गरजें।
8 बाढ़ें ताली बजाएँ; पहाड़ियाँ एक साथ आनन्द मनाएँ
9 यहोवा के सम्मुख; क्योंकि वह पृथ्वी का न्याय करने को आनेवाला है, वह जगत का न्याय धर्म से, और देश देश के लोगों का न्याय खराई से करेगा।
