Galatians 5 - 6

Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing. For I testify again to every man that is circumcised,that he is a debtor to do the whole law. Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace. For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.

Galatians 5

3 For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.
4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
5 For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.
6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.
7 Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?
8 This persuasion cometh not of him that calleth you.
9 A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.
10 I have confidence in you through the Lord, that ye will be none otherwise minded: but he that troubleth you shall bear his judgment, whosoever he be.
11 And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? then is the offence of the cross ceased.
12 I would they were even cut off which trouble you.
13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
15 But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.
16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

Galatians 6

6 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.
2 Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
3 For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.
4 But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.
5 For every man shall bear his own burden.
6 Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.
7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
11 Ye see how large a letter I have written unto you with mine own hand.
12 As many as desire to make a fair shew in the flesh, they constrain you to be circumcised; only lest they should suffer persecution for the cross of Christ.
13 For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh.
14 But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.
15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.
16 And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.
17 From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.
18 Brethren, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.

5 इसलिए उस आज़ादी में मज़बूती से खड़े रहो जिससे मसीह ने हमें आज़ाद किया है, और गुलामी के जुए में फिर से मत उलझो।
2 देखो, मैं पौलुस तुमसे कहता हूँ, कि अगर तुम्हारा खतना हो गया है, तो मसीह से तुम्हें कुछ फ़ायदा नहीं होगा।
3 क्योंकि मैं हर उस आदमी को फिर से गवाही देता हूँ जिसका खतना हुआ है, कि वह पूरे कानून को मानने के लिए कर्ज़दार है।
4 तुममें से जो कोई भी कानून से सही ठहराए गए हो, मसीह तुम्हारे लिए बेकार हो गया है; तुम कृपा से गिर गए हो।
5 क्योंकि हम आत्मा के ज़रिए विश्वास से नेकी की उम्मीद का इंतज़ार करते हैं।
6 क्योंकि यीशु मसीह में न तो खतना कुछ काम का है, न ही बिना खतना के; बल्कि विश्वास जो प्यार से काम करता है।
7 तुम अच्छी तरह दौड़े; किसने तुम्हें रोका कि तुम सच को न मानो?
8 यह यकीन तुम्हें बुलाने वाले से नहीं आता।
9 थोड़ा सा खमीर पूरे आटे को खमीर कर देता है। 10 मुझे प्रभु के ज़रिए तुम पर भरोसा है कि तुम किसी और बात पर ध्यान नहीं दोगे: लेकिन जो तुम्हें परेशान करता है, उसे सज़ा मिलेगी, चाहे वह कोई भी हो।

11 और भाइयों, अगर मैं अब भी खतने का प्रचार करता हूँ, तो मुझे अब तक ज़ुल्म क्यों सहना पड़ता है? तब क्रॉस का गुनाह खत्म हो जाएगा।

12 काश वे लोग भी काट दिए जाते जो तुम्हें परेशान करते हैं।

13 क्योंकि भाइयों, तुम्हें आज़ादी के लिए बुलाया गया है; बस आज़ादी का इस्तेमाल शरीर के लिए मौका मत बनाओ, बल्कि प्यार से एक दूसरे की सेवा करो।

14 क्योंकि सारा नियम एक ही बात में पूरा हो जाता है, यानी इस बात में कि तुम अपने पड़ोसी से अपने जैसा प्यार करो।

15 लेकिन अगर तुम एक दूसरे को काटते और खाते हो, तो सावधान रहो कि तुम एक दूसरे को खत्म न कर दो।

16 तो मैं यह कहता हूँ, आत्मा के अनुसार चलो, और तुम शरीर की वासना पूरी नहीं करोगे।

16 17 क्योंकि शरीर आत्मा के खिलाफ और आत्मा शरीर के खिलाफ लालसा करता है: और ये एक दूसरे के खिलाफ हैं: ताकि तुम वो काम न कर सको जो तुम करना चाहते हो।

18 लेकिन अगर तुम आत्मा के बताए रास्ते पर चलते हो, तो तुम कानून के अधीन नहीं हो।

19 अब शरीर के काम साफ हैं, जो ये हैं: व्यभिचार, व्यभिचार, अशुद्धता, कामुकता,

20 मूर्ति पूजा, जादू-टोना, नफरत, झगड़ा, दुश्मनी, गुस्सा, झगड़ा, देशद्रोह, धर्म-विरोध,

21 जलन, हत्या, नशा, मौज-मस्ती, और ऐसे ही काम: जिनके बारे में मैं तुम्हें पहले भी बता चुका हूँ, जैसा कि मैंने तुम्हें पहले भी बताया है, कि जो लोग ऐसे काम करते हैं वे परमेश्वर के राज्य के वारिस नहीं होंगे।

22 लेकिन आत्मा का फल प्यार, खुशी, शांति, सहनशीलता, नरमी, अच्छाई, विश्वास है,

23 नरमी, संयम: ऐसे लोगों के खिलाफ कोई कानून नहीं है।

24 और जो मसीह के हैं, उन्होंने शरीर को उसकी इच्छाओं और वासनाओं के साथ क्रूस पर चढ़ा दिया है।

25 अगर हम आत्मा में जीते हैं, तो आत्मा में चलें भी।

26 हम बेकार की शान की चाहत न रखें, एक-दूसरे को न उकसाएं, न ही एक-दूसरे से जलें।

6 हे भाइयों, अगर कोई आदमी किसी गलती में पकड़ा जाए, तो तुम जो आध्यात्मिक हो, ऐसे आदमी को नरमी से सुधारो; अपना भी ध्यान रखो, कहीं तुम भी परीक्षा में न पड़ जाओ।

2 एक दूसरे का बोझ उठाओ, और इस तरह मसीह का नियम पूरा करो।

3 क्योंकि अगर कोई आदमी खुद को कुछ समझता है, जबकि वह कुछ नहीं है, तो वह खुद को धोखा देता है।

4 लेकिन हर आदमी अपने काम को परख ले, और तब उसे सिर्फ़ अपने काम में खुशी मिलेगी, दूसरे में नहीं।

5 क्योंकि हर आदमी अपना बोझ खुद उठाएगा।

6 जिसे वचन में सिखाया गया है, वह सिखाने वाले को सब अच्छी बातें बताए।

7 धोखा मत खाओ; परमेश्वर का मज़ाक नहीं उड़ाया जाता: क्योंकि जो कुछ इंसान बोता है, वही काटेगा भी।

8 क्योंकि जो अपने शरीर के लिए बोता है, वह शरीर से नाश की फसल काटेगा; लेकिन जो आत्मा के लिए बोता है, वह आत्मा से हमेशा की ज़िंदगी काटेगा। 9 और हमें अच्छा काम करने में थकना नहीं चाहिए: क्योंकि अगर हम हिम्मत नहीं हारेंगे, तो सही समय पर हमें फ़ायदा मिलेगा।
10 इसलिए जब भी हमें मौका मिले, हम सबका भला करें, खासकर उनका जो विश्वास के घराने के हैं।
11 तुम देखो, मैंने अपने हाथ से तुम्हें कितना बड़ा लेटर लिखा है।
12 जितने लोग शरीर में अच्छा दिखना चाहते हैं, वे तुम्हें खतना करवाने के लिए मजबूर करते हैं; सिर्फ़ इसलिए कि उन्हें मसीह के क्रॉस के लिए ज़ुल्म न सहना पड़े।
13 क्योंकि न तो वे खुद जिनका खतना हुआ है, कानून मानते हैं; बल्कि तुम्हारा खतना करवाना चाहते हैं, ताकि वे तुम्हारे शरीर पर घमंड करें।
14 लेकिन भगवान न करे कि मैं हमारे प्रभु यीशु मसीह के क्रॉस के अलावा किसी और चीज़ पर घमंड करूँ, जिसके द्वारा दुनिया मेरे लिए क्रूस पर चढ़ाई गई है, और मैं दुनिया के लिए।
15 क्योंकि मसीह यीशु में न तो खतना कुछ काम का है, न ही बिना खतना के, बल्कि एक नई सृष्टि है। 16 और जितने लोग इस नियम के अनुसार चलते हैं, उन पर और परमेश्वर के इस्राएल पर शांति और दया बनी रहे।

17 अब से कोई मुझे परेशान न करे: क्योंकि मैं अपने शरीर में प्रभु यीशु के निशान लिए हुए हूँ।

18 भाइयों, हमारे प्रभु यीशु मसीह की कृपा तुम्हारी आत्मा के साथ हो। आमीन।
