Psalms 95 - 96

O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.

95 O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.
2 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.
3 For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.
4 In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also.
5 The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.
6 O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker.
7 For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,
8 Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:
9 When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work.
10 Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways:
11 Unto whom I sware in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest.

Psalm 96

96 O sing unto the Lord a new song: sing unto the Lord, all the earth.
2 Sing unto the Lord, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day.
3 Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people.
4 For the Lord is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods.
5 For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the Lord made the heavens.
6 Honour and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.
7 Give unto the Lord, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto the Lord glory and strength.
8 Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts.
9 O worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.
10 Say among the heathen that the Lord reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously.
11 Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof.
12 Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice
13 Before the Lord: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.

95 हे आओ, हम यहोवा के लिये गाएँ: आओ हम अपने उद्धार की चट्टान के लिये आनन्द से जयजयकार करें।

2 आओ हम धन्यवाद के साथ उसके सामने आएँ, और भजनों के साथ जयजयकार करें।

3 क्योंकि यहोवा महान परमेश्वर है, और सब देवताओं से बड़ा राजा है।

4 पृथ्वी के गहरे स्थान उसके हाथ में हैं: पहाड़ियों की मजबूती भी उसकी है।

5 समुद्र उसका है, और उसने उसे बनाया है: और उसके हाथों ने सूखी भूमि बनाई है।

6 हे आओ, हम दण्डवत करें और झुकें: आओ हम अपने बनानेवाले यहोवा के सामने घुटने टेकें।

7 क्योंकि वह हमारा परमेश्वर है; और हम उसके चरागाहों की प्रजा और उसके हाथ की भेड़ें हैं। आज यदि तुम उसकी आवाज सुनो,

8 अपना हृदय कठोर न करो, जैसा क्रोध के समय और जंगल में परीक्षा के दिन किया था:

9 जब तुम्हारे पूर्वजों ने मेरी परीक्षा की, मुझे परखा, और मेरे काम को देखा।

10 चालीस वर्ष तक मैं इस पीढ़ी से दुःखी रहा, और कहता रहा, ये लोग अपने मन में भटके हुए हैं, और इन्होंने मेरे मार्गों को नहीं जाना। 11 मैंने क्रोध में आकर इनसे शपथ खाई थी कि ये मेरे विश्राम में प्रवेश न करने पाएँगे।

96 हे यहोवा के लिए एक नया गीत गाओ: हे सारी पृथ्वी के लोगो, यहोवा के लिए गाओ।

2 यहोवा के लिए गाओ, उसके नाम को धन्य कहो; दिन-प्रतिदिन उसके उद्धार का प्रचार करो।

3 अन्यजातियों में उसकी महिमा का, सब लोगों में उसके आश्चर्यकर्मों का वर्णन करो।

4 क्योंकि यहोवा महान है, और उसकी स्तुति बहुत ही योग्य है; वह सब देवताओं से अधिक भययोग्य है।

5 क्योंकि जातियों के सब देवता मूरतें हैं, परन्तु यहोवा ने स्वर्ग को बनाया है।

6 उसके सम्मुख आदर और ऐश्वर्य है; उसके पवित्रस्थान में सामर्थ्य और सुन्दरता है।

7 हे प्रजा के कुलो, यहोवा को महिमा और सामर्थ्य दो।

8 यहोवा को उसके नाम के अनुसार महिमा दो; भेंट चढ़ाओ, और उसके आंगनों में आओ।

9 हे पवित्रता की सुन्दरता में यहोवा की आराधना करो: हे सारी पृथ्वी के लोगो, उसके सम्मुख भय मानो।

10 अन्यजातियों में कहो कि प्रभु राज्य करता है: संसार भी ऐसा स्थिर रहेगा कि वह कभी न डगमगाएगा: वह लोगों का न्याय धर्म से करेगा।
11 आकाश आनन्दित हो और पृथ्वी प्रसन्न हो; समुद्र और उसमें की सारी सृष्टि गरज उठे।
12 मैदान और उसमें जो कुछ है, वह आनन्दित हो; तब जंगल के सब वृक्ष आनन्दित होंगे
13 प्रभु के साम्हने: क्योंकि वह आ रहा है, क्योंकि वह पृथ्वी का न्याय करने आ रहा है: वह संसार का न्याय धर्म से और लोगों का न्याय अपनी सच्चाई से करेगा।
