Job 25 - 26

Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said, Dominion and fear are with him, he maketh peace in his high places. Is there any number of his armies? and upon whom doth not his light arise?

Job 25

25 Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said,
2 Dominion and fear are with him, he maketh peace in his high places.
3 Is there any number of his armies? and upon whom doth not his light arise?
4 How then can man be justified with God? or how can he be clean that is born of a woman?
5 Behold even to the moon, and it shineth not; yea, the stars are not pure in his sight.
6 How much less man, that is a worm? and the son of man, which is a worm?

Job 26

26 But Job answered and said,
2 How hast thou helped him that is without power? how savest thou the arm that hath no strength?
3 How hast thou counselled him that hath no wisdom? and how hast thou plentifully declared the thing as it is?
4 To whom hast thou uttered words? and whose spirit came from thee?
5 Dead things are formed from under the waters, and the inhabitants thereof.
6 Hell is naked before him, and destruction hath no covering.
7 He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing.
8 He bindeth up the waters in his thick clouds; and the cloud is not rent under them.
9 He holdeth back the face of his throne, and spreadeth his cloud upon it.
10 He hath compassed the waters with bounds, until the day and night come to an end.
11 The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at his reproof.
12 He divideth the sea with his power, and by his understanding he smiteth through the proud.
13 By his spirit he hath garnished the heavens; his hand hath formed the crooked serpent.
14 Lo, these are parts of his ways: but how little a portion is heard of him? but the thunder of his power who can understand?

25 तब शूही बिलदद ने उत्तर दिया,

5 चाँद को भी देखो, परन्तु वह चमकता नहीं; हाँ, तारे भी उसकी दृष्टि में शुद्ध नहीं हैं।

6 मनुष्य तो कीड़ा है, और मनुष्य का पुत्र जो कीड़ा है, वह तो और भी अधिक पवित्र है?

26 परन्तु अय्यूब ने उत्तर दिया,

2 तूने शक्तिहीन की सहायता कैसे की? तूने शक्तिहीन भुजा को कैसे बचाया?

3 तूने बुद्धिहीन को कैसे सम्मति दी? और तूने जो कुछ है, उसे कैसे विस्तार से बताया? 4 तूने किससे बातें की? और किसकी आत्मा तुझसे निकली?

5 मृत प्राणी जल के नीचे से और उसके निवासियों से उत्पन्न होते हैं।

6 अधोलोक उसके सामने नंगा है, और विनाश को कोई छिपा नहीं सकता।

7 वह उत्तर दिशा को खाली स्थान पर फैलाता है, और पृथ्वी को बिना किसी सहारे के लटकाए रखता है।

8 वह जल को अपने घने बादलों में बाँधता है; और बादल उनके नीचे फटता नहीं। 9 वह अपने सिंहासन के मुख को रोके रखता है, और उस पर अपना बादल फैलाता है। 10 उसने जल को सीमा से घेर रखा है, जब तक कि दिन और रात समाप्त न हो जाएँ। 11 आकाश के खंभे कांपते हैं और उसकी डांट से चकित होते हैं।

12 वह अपनी शक्ति से समुद्र को विभाजित करता है, और अपनी समझ से वह अभिमानियों को मार डालता है।

13 उसने अपनी आत्मा से आकाश को सजाया है; उसके हाथ ने टेढ़े सर्प को बनाया है।

14 देखो, ये उसके मार्गों के भाग हैं: लेकिन उसका कितना छोटा भाग सुना जाता है? लेकिन उसकी शक्ति की गड़गड़ाहट को कौन समझ सकता है?
